i moved to nashville in 2008. i started a "diary" of songs to hold me over through the long nights. through a friend, i met the man who would take my diary and my soul and gently marinate the two together. with his flawless treatments he would create a sense of heaven that i could hold and call my own...forever. his name is lex price. the ep, at the time, was created in his backyard home studio with the company of a red lamp. michael (the husband) and i co-wrote four more songs to make it a "complete" work, while lex enrolled other genius contributions from ian fitchuk, john deadrick, kris donegan and elijah shaw's studio, the toybox in east nashville. the final icing was from peter bradley adams to sing angelic background vocals on "come to me"...and we called it a day. what a great day this has been...i do, however intend on making another record. my diary is overflown.
